In his 6-year career, Barry Keoghan has worked with such cinematic behemoths as Christopher Nolan and Brendan Gleeson, securing himself a nomination for Best Actor at the IFTA (Irish Film and Television Academy) as well as a whole host of positive recognition.

His latest role sees him tackle something a little different: the unhinged teen, Martin, in Yorgos Lanthimos’ The Killing of a Sacred Deer. I sat down with Keoghan during the 61st BFI London Film Festival to talk to him about his new villainous role, his favourite directors, and spaghetti.
